Why do you feel the need to change?
I have a J5 and really like it.

Any of the larger Sony Xperia models such as the XZ, Z3, Z5, XA1, XA2, L1 would be perfect for your needs. The XA2 Ultra in particular, one of which I own myself, is brilliant. It has a 6" screen and very impressive battery life. It's possible to get two days heavy usage from a single charge. Look on ebay for the best value.

I feel the j5 is very slow for multi tasking (just me) just want to upgrade from it is all its a great phone other than that :)

Max budget would be about 5-600 :)

Not sure on specs a good camera (12mp) plus and processor is a must and good battery life :)

I bought a Oneplus6 earlier on last year. Best phone I've ever had. I've had Samsungs (up to S6) and Sony (Z3, Z5).

No bloat, very quick, loads of storage space and a great screen. And cheap (for the spec).

the p20 PRO is the version to get as it has the better camera, bigger battery and waterproofing.

by the way there are budget phones with mid-range processors that would handle your uses perfectly fine
also some have better better battery life than the most expensive phones
build quality is excellent these days also as opposed to to the past
and camera will be almost as good in daylight - best phones ahead in low light

so just an FYI that you could get a great phone for your use for 170 euro

the top cpus are only really needed for intensive 3d games.

a phone with stock android (android one phone) will run smoother as the OS is not burdened with bloatware and skins that make even high-end cpu phones slow - it can be the OS software at fault, not the cpu

flagship is the very top-end - of pricing usually so that's why I didn't use the term

e.g. if you don't need NFC for payments the mi a2 lite has super-smooth operation on stock android pie, truely amazing battery life due to big battery and efficient mid-range cpu, great build quality (metal so less fragile than glass black), looks good (blue best colour as contrast works with black front), camera is very good in good light but nighttime no so good (but few phones are).

buy 4gb ram, 64gb verison - on honorbuy for fastest delivery although seems out of stock there at moment

eglobal - allow 10 days delivery usually - no customs/tax issues
