Have any of you witnessed something so funny or outrageous that had there been a camera present it would've broken the internet?

Or, done anything crazy or cool that you wish others had seen?

I was playing golf a few years ago with a bunch of people. One guy was taking things really seriously, like, really annoyed with himself if he hit a bad shot. The rest of us were there for the fun due to us all being pretty sh1t at golf.

Got to the stage where it was becoming a little awkward and uncomfortable when he did bad.

We got to a tee box beside a lake. A lake with about 100 ducks on it.

He got up, teed up his ball and got himself ready. All quiet.

He draws his driver back, swings it around and hits the most wonderfully horrible shot, it looks like an upside down boomerang, straight into the lake.

With that, the whole lake of ducks let out a massive

'Whaaa Wha wha wa, Whaaa wha wa wa wa'

like the biggest pisstake laugh you've ever heard.

It was absolute gold. So wish other people were able to witness it's beauty.

Sometimes you have to be there.

Cool story OP; it's like I was there but I didn't find it that funny.

I once chased my dog, Fenton, around the park the little bollocks. Wish I had a camera for it, funny now I look back on it.

Actually I did make a nice few quid from a video I posted on Twitter during storm Ophelia.

I had another from a door I was working. A guy beat up his GF (head butt and bit her on the face), I was trying to get the idiot to hit me (or so some people in the comments thought :pac: ) ~ that was on my youtube account but I had to make it private because of the sheer amount of work moderating the posts advocating violence towards women.

I couldn't make a penny from that because of the bad language and threats of violence.

The rest of my crap is just Judo competitions and some biking (motorbikes).

My Parkrun photos are on Instagram, and they're not very interesting.

I know it,s trivial but around 11pm last week a saw a fox walk across dame st, and walk into trinity college .

About 10 days ago i saw a busker on grafton street at night singing an adele
song , he was a great singer ,better than 99 per cent of the singers
on the x factor .He looked about 20 years old .
There was about 20 people listening to him .

    Not trivial at all.

That's what I'm trying to get at. Stuff you see that you wish others saw.

Would love to have seen that fox.

I scored the best goal I never saw in secondary school, keeper booted it up, came over my shoulder outside the box, and I smashed it into the top corner on the volley.

Would have won the Puskas award these days if anybody had been filming

A good few years ago I was on a school thing in Dublin. It was like a geography walking tour around the city. At the end of it we went to Tara Street dart station to head back to school. The escalator to the Southbound platform from the main ticket hall was switched off, but we figured we could just use it as a set of stairs. Now, I'm sure some escalator repair specialist will comment on this post and tell me it was impossible, but I remember this well. We walked up the escalator and as a good few of us got on it the weight of all of us began to make the stairs move downwards. Being young (15-16) and not really sensing any danger we just began to Jog up. But it got way faster. I was pretty athletic at the time, and i remember having to really sprint the last bit (where the escalator had leveled out) and very nearly not making it. At least two or three guys fell back as they got over that top bit.

It was 2007 or so, but I don't think any of us had video phones. A bunch of kids getting owned trying to sprint up a runaway escalator might have made decent viral video. But probably would have got some maintenance guy fired for not closing the escalator before disengaging the brakes. So might not have been worth it.

He'll only make it if people like me and you keep sharing it!

He has another few tunes,, including one about the Liffey Boardwalk. I think he lacks the confidence to release them.

At Blanchardstown shopping centre the other day there was a woman who'd been smoking and set part of her coat on fire. She then blew out the fire. She thought she'd been warm or something.

I’ve heard dogs howl in pain that sounded better than that nonsense.

I was playing pitch and putt with my mate, hit the tee shot, tee went straight up in the air next to my head. I was following the ball with my eyes, caught the tee without looking or flinching and the ball landed on the green.

In 30 years it's probably the best thing I've ever done and only one person saw it.

Years ago made dinner and when I sat down to eat it in the sitting room I realised I forgot to bring the salt, so I jumped up annoyed as the film was starting, got the salt and ran back in with my eye on the TV and sat on my dinner.

I'd have made You've Been Framed if that had been captured. Oh the hilarity.
