Heard of local guy who is off on Work related stress with monthly sick certs from his doctor. Heard that he is now nearly 4 months off and his employers are paying him due to the 'work related' element.

Has his employers an obligation to pay his wages onthis 'sickness'??? Sure what to stop the employee dragging this for years????

The key thing to ask when confronted with gossip like this is why would anyone publicise their private affairs like this? Why would anyone else besides himself know if he is/isn't getting paid for being on sick leave? You hear the same stuff about people being on benefits yet making a *made up specific decent wage*.

Highly likely it's nothing more than malicious gossip.
