Flat Roof Trim

    Hi all

Our flat roof (installed before we bought the house) only goes to the edge - it doesn’t lap over. There’s no issues with water (except maybe one place) so I was thinking of putting in a roof trim under the flat roof and onto the wall. Such as these ones https://nordroofs.ie/product/trims

I’m not going to put in guttering or anything like that.

Any thoughts or observations? Thank you.

    Is the roof solid concrete?

Then I don't really see the need for any trim?

How does the water shed off the roof? Does it run down the concrete?

Which trim were you thinking of using and why use a trim in the first place is it just for aesthetic reasons as the finish you have is normal for a concrete roof. Who ever installed it had the good sense to include a drip groove to protect the wall

Only thin I think I might do is paint the sides of the exposed concrete with a Black Bitumen Paint and then overlap onto the top of the roof a couple of inches so the join was covered over. But thats not really necessary.
