    Hi ,
I bought the above TV in Argos the other day.
I have it set up now ; linked to the WiFi and connected it my Virgin Media box.
    A bit clueless now though!
I thought i would be able to get free to air channels through the TV but it doesn't seem to be working for me.
I tried a few things from here like changing location to UK and followed the steps in tuning in the channels but no channels were found.
Do i need to have it linked to my satellite dish as i thought the channels worked through the WiFi?
    Feeling a bit stupid here!!
    Any advice greatly appreciated.

You need to connect it to a satellite dish to get the free UK channels, or live within range of a Freeview transmitter in the UK.

Thats a nice TV and quite complex. At the back you have 2 inputs, one for aerial so if you have a rooftop aerial or loft and you previously got tv3 in the old days then with this tv you will get saorview. The other input is for a sat cable ie from a sky dish if you had one.

You then have to use menu to get to tuning point and select auto. not easy but good luck.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I'm wanting to connect a satellite directly to my TV

The satellite is currently connected to a Sky box via 2 cables but there is only one satellite connection at the back of the TV

Anyone know which cable I use to connect to the TV

    TIA

Either satellite cable will do as long as it wasn't a Sky Q box. The second cable is used for recording when the first is busy viewing.

and you can set the sky box to work on a single feed and have that as a spare.
