    Hi all

We are getting a steel shed out the back garden. We intend on it having a "home office" interior. (steel walls and concrete floor covered)

It comes with 25mm Kingspan insulation.

It will be 3mx3m and will have a window and door.

The following is what we will have to do with it:

    1. Soundproofing (for playing drums - 25mm Kingspan included but the gap in wall allows for 40mm total. Kingspan is expensive - do we need to just take the hit on this or is there a cheaper option? We would like to do it cheap but more than that we want to do it right, so if it has to be Kingspan then so be it)
    2. Timber (maybe) boards over the insulation/soundproofing for the walls
    3. Lay a floor

We will be getting an electrician to hook up the power - we aren't going to take any stupid chances, but we do need to keep costs down, so were hoping that the 3 above items would be the easiest (and hopefully the least lethal) to try ourselves.

I don't have the first clue about how to do these things so I would be delighted if anyone was willing to throw some nuggets of wisdom my way.

    Many thanks
    Bananaleaf
