I've been lucky to have had a few who were great for different reasons.

One was very hot headed but always fair and trusted me to just get on with things, valued my input and always stood by me.

Another was super methodical and calm but very supportive of expanding my role through paying for further education.

Neither were clock watchers and happy to let me work from home or work (within reason) modified hours, saying that they knew I wouldn't take the piss.
