I remember she was a young lady who was terminally ill. She seemed lovely in her posts, really admired her upbeat posts chatting about regular things on here despite that, seems really brave, I don't think I'd be able to maintain any sense of normality. Her story really got to me tbh, made me think how vulnerable we all are and nobody is guaranteed health or old age. It says her last activity was 6 months ago, made me feel a bit sick. I know almost nothing about this person but it'd really make my day to hear that she's doing okay for now and that she just happened to get sick of visiting boards.ie though that seems unlikely

I have often wondered too how Dara was getting on. Always found great strength and inspiration from reading her posts. You know? Always made me say "gwan, girl" at the computer screen. She's some cookie

I'd advise you not to get emotionally involved in the postings of anyone here.

On an internet forum you must always take with a pinch of salt what ppl say.

I'm still not convinced Graces7 lives on an Island, or that Permabear who disappeared as well, lives the life he says he does.

I'm convinced JupiterKid is a actual nudist but I'm not entirely convinced Omakeral is in fact a prison officer.

Whatever the truth is I think it's foolish to get emotionally involved one way or the other.

The user left the site after a mod inserted her name in a mocking (or humourous, depending on perspective) way in a thread title.

I sometimes wonder what had happened to some posters here too.

Ah I wouldn't say emotionally involved..I just think about her from time to time, wish her well in my mind. I was thinking of messaging her one time , just to say I'm sorry I guess , that it's so unfair , but she's probably heard the exact same from more people than she count , and some people hate being pitied . I feel bad I didn't say something now though

I'm unsure where the user is now and if I knew I wouldn't post there name. If they wish to identify themselves they can if they are still active.
I do know in the past the user has opened and closed accounts from what I remember so maybe they are out there.
