    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a 4G wifi hotspot device?
Nothing too fancy or expensive - I only need it as a backup to use for myself from time to time.
I had a Netgear device I got from Three awhile back but it's died on me recently.
I've come across a refurbished Huawei E5377 device on the Eir website for €20 - but I'm not sure if it's an unlocked device?

Have you tried to do a hotspot from your smartphone? I travel a lot for work purposes and always use my phone as my personal internet access point. :)
