The Guinness Watch

What sort of watch is in the Christmas Guinness ad? You know the one where it begins to snow, and the guy walking his dog looks at his watch just in time to see the date click over to 25 just as it hits midnight.

I would love to have a watch (analogue) that has a date change bang-on midnight. All my watches to date start to change well before midnight and dont finish until well after. Current watch starts at approx 10pm and doesn't finish until 2am (thats when the date is finished moving). Yeah, its not a good watch!

Hard to put that into a search engine. Any ideas what watch will do complete date change within few mins of midnight? Must be analogue....

    Thx in advance

The watch itself looks like a vintage one...can’t make out the name though.

Wow.... Thay was impressive (for speed and recall)

Does it click over to new date at midnight though?

Well, with a make & model, I can go check it out.

    Thanks!

As an aside doesn't the watch in ad display the month when the watch itself doesn't?

That date change bang on 12am could be digitally added in for the sake of teh ad

But sure you'll find out when you see one.

I like the way they're removed the 'Citizen' from the dial, but not the 'Eco-Drive', even though that itself is a trademark.
