Puppy is now 16 weeks old and she’s eased back on the amount of food she’s eating in a the last few days by quiet a bit. Today and yesterday her breakfast was still partially left over in the late afternoon. Could this be down to teething or perhaps a change in food is needed? She’s fed royal cainin puppy 3 cups a day. Thanks in advance.

What breed? How big are the cups?

She’s a labradoodle. Cups are done on the exact weight as is given in the back of the pack, 80g 3 times a day iirc

Royal canon is rubbish, I’d change the food anyway to a better quality brand like taste of the wild or James wellbeloved, do it gradually over a week to prevent upset tummy.
As for amount, they go through growth spurts and periods where they don’t eat much, just like kids! I wouldn’t go by the back of the packet either, go by the condition of the pup and by his appetite, his ribs should be well covered, but still easily feelable, but still have a waist, they do go a particularly gangly awkward teenager phase so don’t be alarmed when they all legs and feet and not much else!
