New door, no letterbox, reco,mend a post box

Hi there,
We are hoping to get a new front door. This new door wont have a letter box for post & small packages.

I want to have some kind of wall mounted post box for post & packages.

I like the an post mail box, but think its unfortunate that other delivery people wont be able to use it.
Are there any other recommendations for a suitable box for post & parcel/ packet delivery in a domestic environment?

If you decide to get the An Post box then bare in mind the only people who can access them will be An Post. And if your going down the route of having no letter box how will you receive other mail or attempted delivery slips?

I don't think there are many other options out there, at least none I've come across on my deliverys. Some regular customers use a plastic storage box, but they live in quieter areas.

TBH this looks pretty flimsy/amateur. The tethers are particularly poor and Im not sure a thug couldnt just kick his way through the door in one go.

Maybe a future version will be better though.

How do you get in - i.e. open the door with all those expanded things hanging out of the door?

You use the back door.
