What is best to use - corrugated or box profile.

Also what is the best way to fix the sheets. If using corrugated do you have to use zinc nail or can you use tec screws.

I always use the tec screws.

Box profile best, easiest, never used tec screws on corrugated

That's interesting. Tec screws used here on everything and corrugated far more popular on sheds around here than box

You are right, but I never used tec screws on corrugated sheeting, find easier to use cladding as you are screwing to a flat surface in the channel, as opposed to on ridge of corrugated sheets.?

For same thickness corrugated is stronger due to all the curves. I prefer the look of box profile and to fix it with Tek screws is nicer to be working on the flat. But makes very little difference. Last shed I put up has corrugated and definitely is harder to link when walking on it compared to box

Resheeted a round roof here a bit ago space sheeting used 4 inch corrugated nail with black rubber washers
Should last the odd hurricane hopefully.

Box profile would be weaker that corrie to walk on , I’ve seen lads to this day pre drilling the corrugated on the ground and using nails, I was pulling nails from a shed built in the 60s and by god they were tough to get out , personally I use the tech screws and use screw gun to drive them in , 75mm screws I find them super

    Thanks lads for the info.

For those of you who use tec screws on the corrugated sheeting do you leave the washer on them, do you remove and replace with the ones for the nails or use both.

Would be a bit concerned that if you used only the ones on the screws they might not seal great with the corrugated sheeting - flat washer in curved ridge etc

We leave the washers on them

Good impact drill, they'll seal alright.
