Why are Liberty Insurance here?

We are here to listen and to help, wherever possible, with your insurance queries.

The purpose of this “Talk To” forum is to help Liberty Insurance customers with any customer service queries that they have regarding their home, motor, motorbike or van insurance. We are also happy to assist non-customers should they need information about Liberty Insurance products.

We cannot however give advice about a product or service and in order to protect your security, we will not be able to discuss queries that are related to the specifics of your individual policy. If you have a query relating to your policy we will take this conversation away from the public domain and arrange for someone to contact you directly to resolve your query. You should never publish your personal policy details on this forum and should only include in a private message the specific details requested in order for us to contact you to resolve your query.

It is important to bear in mind that our insurance policies change regularly. When we post information about any of our policies or services, the information will be based on our policies and services at the time of posting. This means you should always confirm with us if information posted in the past is still accurate before relying on this information. It also means that the information we post may be different to the policy you have purchased with us.

We are here to answer queries about our products and services in the Republic of Ireland only, so any information posted should not be taken as accurate for any policies purchased outside Republic of Ireland.

It’s also important to remember that this is an open forum and opinions posted by other users do not represent the views of, or constitute advice from, Liberty Insurance.

How long will it take to solve my issue?

It depends on the nature of your query. We will endeavour to respond to your query as quickly as we can during the hours of 10.00am and 4pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All posts outside of our working hours will be addressed as soon as we’re back online i.e. the following working day.

We will try to provide a solution as quickly as possible, however, some queries may take longer to resolve as we may need to contact other areas of Liberty Insurance.

For some queries, we require more information from you so that we can investigate your query. On such occasions and to protect your privacy, we’ll ask you to
send us a private message.

If you have a complaint that you’d like to be addressed please contact our customer care team on 1890 89 1890 or
[email protected].

What you can expect from us?

We will always treat your query with respect and privacy. In order to protect your privacy, we will never ask you to disclose your policy details within a public thread. However, in order to ensure that we can resolve your query as quickly as possible, we may, at times, ask for your name and contact details. Where this is required, we will always request that these details are sent to us via private message.

What we expect from you?

Your policy information and personal details are highly confidential. You should be mindful of the information you publish online and never post your policy details on this forum.

Important to note too that Philip, Clare and Dave cannot answer every question immediately - due to the size of Liberty Insurance and the variety of departments, they have internal processes to follow themselves, so please be patient.
