Big days racing ahead. Imagine there will be a few plots. Olly Murphy has a host of runners at the lesser tracks

Mud isn’t quite flying yet but Venitta horses beginning to hit a bit of form. Early cash for two of hers at hq tomorrow aso and shalakar both ew prices.

Defi du Suel races looks a cracker

I find it hard to trust defi tho, he beat a horse who lost 20 lengths at start last time, a very good horse in topofthe game who came close to winning a grade 1 last time but if he jumped off with them he would have beat defi on the bridle.
On the blindside for me, Henderson always thought this lad was top notch.

I reckon Tom Scudamore will have a few winners at Exeter as he gave up the ride on some chaos to go there, most his mounts have obvious chance.
    Muss 1.40 - Upsilon Bleu 11/4
    Chelt 12.50 - some chaos 4/1
    Chelt 2.35 - the name evades me 8/1 e/w
    South 1.45 - ornate 2/1 nap

Poor enough racing at Fairyhouse tomorrow but will be there in any case. A good way to clear a few cobwebs.

I see Irish Roe in musselburgh is tipped up all over. Off a good mark I think it must be an e/w nap.9/2
I've no big info but anyone with anything in Tramore please post I will be there,

Always loved new years day racing and did a super Heinz in my drunken state about 6 this morning so might not get too involved past these

    Some Chaos- 12:50 chelt
    Global Melody - 13:10 Southall
    Defi du seuil- 13-25 chelt
Eight and Bob - 13:45 tramore
    Irish roe -14:15 muss
Al boum photo - 14:30 tremors
    Major destination - 15.15 house

    I won't be greedy I'd take 4 winners :-)

Def hit 10/11 passing the stands the first time.

Black Op's jumping was very poor, cost him any chance.

Foxtail Hill here for me. Hoping this good ground will help him stay this out. He needs to get to the front and if so we have a chance!

Al Boum Photo most impressive in Tramore. Is he a Ryanair or Gold Cup contender come Cheltenham in March? I presume Leopardstown next month will be next on the agenda. Big run from Total Recall who jumped much better. Incredibly Al Boum Photo was 9/4 briefly just before finishing at 2/1. I don't like backing at those odds, but those that did were in the jackpot for this quality Mullins horse.

Unlucky Bumper. Hales is right about the winner, last him into the Stayers.

Almighty gamble on the fame and glory in the last at Cheltenham

Not sure what to make of Cobden, he was very niaive there, should have grabbed the rail when he angled across, very clear the winner was travelling all over him

Will watch replay later looked a deep race on paper and for Tramore which is a sharp track not all would handle it

How was it a gamble ? It drifted massively all day

Nope. Was as high as 6’s went to 2/1 30 mins before race but drifted before the off as was acting up in parade ring. If you were watching the betting, as I was, you could see the gamble

was 5/2 last night from 13/2 or 6s iirc on 365, not that it would take
that much for it to move at that hour
