    Hello.

Apologies for the long winded heading. As the title states I previously applied for a role but was unsuccessful due to other commitments (college night course). Another position/vacancy has arisen within the company. Would I be wasting my time reapplying for this position.

Since my last application I have finished my part time degree and I have completing two specialised training courses at my own expense in a field which is applicable to the new role

I don't think so at all. The company will probably acknowledge that you must be interested in them to reapply.

As the reason you were unsuccessful the last time doesn't apply anynore then of course apply.

    Good luck.

This is the attitude, drive and ambition that Employers are (or at least should be) looking for.

Please don't take this the wrong way but you sound a little discouraged and timid about all of this. At a guess you may have had a few knock backs which is par for the course.

A lot of people undervalue their own worth. What I found helpful was to go on LinkedIn and browse through all of the people in the same or similar roles to what you're aiming for,

You'll soon see that a lot of them won't have the skills and experience you do - Some of them may just have a kindly relative working there ;)

    - Back yourself, prepare very well, talk the talk and go get that job!!!

100% go for it. I once had the experience of applying for a job I thought I'd be suitable for (given qualifications, experience, etc.), but didn't even get called for interview. About four years later, the same job arose again, so I applied again, and this time I got the job, helped greatly by what I'd been doing in the meantime that was also relevant to the role.

No reason it couldn't go the same way for you.
