    Hi,

I have a 1.2 polo and I was driving today and got a loss of power and shuddering. I have a scanner in the car so I pulled in and it's showing code PO303 which it says is a cylinder issue, but of googling suggests exhaust valve burnt out. Seems to be driving fine when I started it again , is it safe for me to drive with one cylinder not working, have to drive 5k into work tomorrow..

I'll get it to mechanic when I can but if it is the exhaust valve it won't be economic to fix it. Funny because the car had this issue before I had it and the whole top end was rebuilt with new valves put in about 40k ago

Could just be a coil pack. Especially if you had it rebuilt 40k ago. Should be ok to drive but would try get it sorted as soon as you can

When that cylinder starts to misfire the ecu cuts power to the injector so your only running on 2 cylinders then

Yeah the loss of power is there at times so it's definitely misfiring I was just wondering was it safe to drive a small enough distance which seems to be , thanks
