    Hi All,

    I have a question about fees for GEM in the UK. I've heard lots of different stories about NHS paying for part of GEM in the UK/Scotland having no fees for Irish students, etc etc. Is any of this true? If an Irish person wanted to study GEM in the UK could we have part if not all of our fees paid for? I know that fr undergrads students have their fees paid but must work for the NHS for 2 years (have no idea if this would apply to Irish students), does the same or a similar deal apply to GEM students?

    In Scotland currently they have a deal where all fees are covered, however cautionary warning:
    a) there is only one GEM course, its split between 2 universities, St. Andrews and Dundee
    b) We really don't know what the situation will be with this post Brexit

    It is a very sweet deal as it currently stands, as you could save about 60k in debt. You are also entitled to NHS grants on top of that.
