Aer lingus booking not "ticketed"

    Has anyone experienced this? I made a group booking today with aer lingus but didn't get a confirmation booking. I called them and after a long period they eventually found my booking (took time as i wasnt given a booking reference ) and said it was not "ticketed" and could only say it was possibly a glitch in the booking system. They recommend that I lodge a dispute with my bank to get the money refunded and re-book the tickets. I have an awful feeling the price will increase but my main reason for being really pissed is the 2 hours I spent trying to sort it out. I have only had good experiences with aer lingus up to now
    Has anyone had this occur?
