someone on facebook is spreading rumours that all the ITG stock is being evicted and 134 is headed to Carrick shortly. Seems to be uncorroborated

Which Facebook page? I hadn't heard that story but the ITG are at nothing in Moyasta and would be better off out of it.

not unsurprisingly the couple of posts I saw seem to have disappeared. I can't recall the poster(s) either. Looked pretty amateurish so I'm guessing it was a wind up.
Moyasta was only really a storage site but moving all the locos and any of the carriages ITG may own would be an expensive job, and might threaten the future of some of the items. I hope it's not true.

The recent ITG journal would suggest that now that the economy is improving, the Whelans may have the money to resume development at Moyasta.

I hope it is true, as the ITG locos are only deteriorating in storage open to the weather.
