quick question about importing a used digger from uk

    strongly thinking about buying a secondhand digger in uk my question is do i pay any import tax with customs in ireland when it comes in? or if anyone has done this with a tractor what was your experiance cheers rs8!!

    No import tax until April anyway!!!!
    Just €200 VRT as far as i know.

    Track machine or wheeled digger ?
    You pay vat or duty in one country in the eu . You dont pay again.
    However the vat rate is higher here than uk so you might owe a few quid here too

    You only have to pay vat in one country in the EU, Ireland can't charge you extra for higher rate.
