    The one beside what I think is a heron ie the one middle left with the yellow on its beak. Taken at Bessbrook pond, Co Armagh. Thank you.

    Is it not a heron?

    You're looking at the wrong bird, the blackish one to the left near the brown duck is a cormorant. Big one with the white neck is a heron of course.
