Unable to log in to Eir Sport app

    Hi, I upgraded to Eir Mobile Essential in October 2018. On my previous plan, I was able to access eir sport with no issues. I have been unable to log in to the Eir sport app since I upgraded, even though the rep in the shop advised me that my account is eligible. Each time I try to log in, it tells me that either my password or username is incorrect, or my plan is ineligible.

    I have been trying for the last 2 months to contact Eir. Nearly every time I have tried ringing, I have been left on hold for over an hour, then kept getting transferred to different departments, none of which apparently dealt with the eir sport app. I have been back to the shop where I bought the phone on 3 separate occasions. Any customer support member that I have been able to speak to has advised they would email or phone me to resolve the issue, and I am still waiting on a response.

    Eir customer support has been the worst I have ever experienced. They clearly do not care about their customers, but are well able to charge each month for their bills while providing no support for their customers.

    Has anyone had the same issue with the Eir sport app? I don’t know what the next step is for me, as there doesn’t seem to be any point in trying to contact them or email them, as they will either not respond or be of no use when I do contact them.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Sorry to hear you are having problems logging into the eir Sport app. 

    Have you registered your mobile number to My Eir? 

    If you could PM the following details?
    1. Your Account Number
    2. Your Full Name
    3. Your Address
    4. You are the account holder
    5. DOB

    Could you also PM the email address you are using to log in I can look into this for you.
