Anyone only starting to watch a show which has been gushed over for months, maybe years?

I'm only watching True Detective season one now - it's actually nearly five years since it first aired, crikey. Anyway I'm on episode four and it does not disappoint.

I watched the first episode of the 2nd season of True Detective when it first aired a few years ago and left it. I got Now TV a little while back and noticed both seasons of True Detective were on it so I gave it another go and finished it this time a few days ago. I enjoyed Season 2 but found the plot was heavy going at times. I was watching explainer vids on Youtube every so often :pac:

I only watched The Wire 14 years after season 1 first aired. It was a great show and because the show was well over I could binge watch it and not have to wait months between seasons.

That BIG scene in episode 4 was all done in one take apparently :)

So I've heard. Can't wait for season three though - love Mahershala Ali, and the Ozarks always seems like an intriguing backdrop.

I'm airily new to Peaky Blinders. Only caught the first three series on Netflix since October. Season 4 has just landed on Netflix, so watched the first episode last night. Looks like there's gonna be trouble with those Italians
