If it is only about football then I loved to see Croatia in Football World Cup Finals with their happy president Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović. Felt sad for Salah when he got injured.

Thankfully I dont quantify whether my year was good or bad by the actions of overpaid overrated sports people, I do enjoy sports but if boxing or soccer ever make the list of high points in my year I'll have to seriously review where my life is heading

My "best" is too intertwined with my "worst"....The best is the three young rescued cats....Best for them and for me. But that only happened because of the worst, the terrible sudden deaths of my dog and one of my precious older cats.
