XPS15 USB-C Port Charging

I may have asked this before but I can't find the thread (maybe it was elsewhere), but I've an old Dell XPS15 laptop, 9560 I think. It has a regular looking charging socket but also has a USB-C Port. I also have a Thinkpad E580 which only has a C Port and the 65W charging brick plugs in to that to charge the machine.
Can I use the Lenovo charger to charge the XPS via the C port or are they not for power-in when it has a separate DC socket? I'm afraid I'll fry the laptop altogether if I try it. Would be handy only carrying the one charger.

C'mon Pat, first three google results clearly answer that question.

Your XPS requires 100-130W so a 65W brick is near useless but you could use a *DELL* 100W USB C brick to do it if you wished.

I didn't see much other than Reddit when I searched. Thanks though, I'll look one up and try use that for both.

There only seems to be a 90W available and they earn that it'll only charge at 60W anyway if you've an old C port (laptop is near 2 years old).
