Looking for some advice, I used to keep up to date with all things android but company swapped to apple only so just paid over the odds for their devices

Now they have opened again and looking at options. My mate in uk office swears by this company and says phone is great, no bloatware, good firmware and he gets a day out of it, normally my iPhone is dead at lunchtime

Just wondering if anyone knows if good? Any alternatives in this price bracket. If I am spending up on iPhone money will just stick with Apple

My bro just bought Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite but I have those types of phones before and found firmware dodgy, love Xiaomi other stuff, have robohoover and all sorts of stuff off them

What is your budget? A €200 Android is hardly going to compare to a €800-1000 iPhone or Android.

If battery life is important, you could get a Mate 10 Pro for under €400

Budget is 200 quid....

I havent used Android in many years so I might be too set in my ways....if I am ok with it again then I will invest

The brand is big in the UK...as it is a british make....the guys is the techie of all techie's who is recommending. He would go OnePlus if he had big bucks but said this was the best in price range. Stable firmware and good battery life

you'd be better off with an honor 9 lite (nice looks and NFC) or mi a2 lite (for class-leading battery life and clean stock android) for cheaper

better cpu, better camera, better screen.

nice quality build, capable mid-range cpu, ok camera, NFC (which is very rare at this price point and allows for payments through phone, topping up leap card etc)

the mi a2 lite has stock android - it's not Xiaomi EMUI android OS.

stock android is as clean an android version as you can get.

when you run the upgrade to android pie it's great.
