HSG & no smear test for 3 months

    Can anyone tell me.. I had the HSG done 4 weeks ago. My consultant asked me to book a smear test and have the smear test done before my ivf consult in a few week.

    I went this morning to the nurse in the clinic and she told me because I'm only after having the hsg that she cannot do a smear for another few months. Then the doctor said that yes this is the case.

    Is this deffo correct?
