Hi folks, I’m stuck in work over Christmas and wouldn’t mind getting saorview in if it was cheap enough.
It’s really only for 2/3 days so don’t want to spend much.
I am close enough to 3 rock.
There is WiFi but it’s not great, I watch a bit of you tube and it freezes occasionally.
There are monitors on the wall with hdmi etc that I could hook up to or I have an old LG Tv at home that I could bring in, it’s quite old so I’m pretty sure it isn’t saorview compatable and probably only has an aerial connection and a scart.
I do have Vodafone at home tv but it doesn’t work great and is mostly geo locked as our WiFi is routed through another office on the continent.

Anyone any suggestions? If I’m to buy something it would probably need to be readily available in a bricks and mortar shop in Dublin as I’ve left this late.

For Saorview buy a USB tuner dongle (as low as €10) and plug it into a laptop or such.
If, as you say, you are close to the transmitter then you should get signal from a small indoor aerial.

Do you have unlimited 4G on your phone and get a decent signal? If so take a laptop/tablet into work and tether from your phones 4G connection. Use the RTE and TV3 player to show live and online content.
