I'm in D3 but can go to D5/7/9/11 etc for this work.
I got some shelves made for me but now I've decided I want them somewhere else in the house. I got them made in Wicklow and don't have the time to drive down there.
I'm just looking for a simple shorting of the length, nothing difficult.
Anywhere near D3 I can get this done?

    TIA.

Genuinely, try a neighbour. They may have a skilsaw.

I'm a little worried about that. They're lacquered with a natural edge and I'm concerned about non-straight edges etc.

When you sat natural edge, do you mean waney edged? I presume you want the cut perpendicular to the waney edge. Im also persuming this is a straight side. If so then most circular saws come with a frnce or guide, so the cut would be following the original edge, so straight cuts shouldnt be too difficult.

Re. the laquer, thats a little more difficult, but if you are cutting to fit to a wall or alcove, it might not be noticeable.

Really, finding a friend or neighbour etc. who is handy and has the tools is probably the best way to go with this

At first I thought it was a joke... But now I'm excited to have found a great place so close. Thanks.
