BBF on 7D Mark II and AF Point

This year I switched over to BBF on my 7D.
It was a successful changeover and I love using the AF-ON Button instead.

But my most recent photos are a disaster, something has changed in my settings and I just can't figure it out.
The most obvious thing is the Canon Photo Prof 4 software doesn't show any AF points in focus for my photos and previous BBF photos did.
I've switched back to standard mode... using the shutter button, and the AF Points in focus have reappeared on Photos.

Does anyone have an idea that might point me in some direction?

I think if you select the image in edit mode and ALT + J this may switch between showing focus points and not.
