    Another WWYD thread apologies!

I've got a 2005 Jaguar Xtype that for me has become a bit uneconomical to fix.
So its sitting outside the house and needs to go.

I am not sure if its a turbo or just a turbo actuator problem but when she'snot in limp mode she still drives beautifully.

Injectors were replaced 3 years ago, DMF 2 years ago and she still has NCT in the window to April next year.

She has full leather heated seats, heated windscreen, rain sensing wipers, auto lights. Tyres are in decent knick.

There seems to be a good amount on done deal for silly money that are fully functioning - should I just scrap her and be done with it?

A lot depend on what you need to spend to replace it.

How much is the road tax?

Can you get it to a mechanic to check how much it’ll be? Might be a jaguar specialist someone can recommend here

Already done with my very trustworthy indy mechanic - The turbo needs to come out and that is a massive job. nor really prepared to put that sorta money into it to just check a turbo. Which incidentally was put into the car brand new when I bought 4 years ago, so I'm struggling a little with it being the turbo TBH.

    Road tax is 710.

I suppose scrap is my only option.
