    HI all,
I was wondering if anyone could help me.
My 2013 Hyundai i40 DRL started flickering yesterday. Its a fairly strong light so it can be distracting to other motorist when driving thus i need to get this fixed promto.
I called my Hyundai dealer and they reckon parts and labor would be over 1k which is ludicrous. Worst time of year for it to happen and all :(.
I might try to buy a part online myself and fit it but i cant get any manual online.
Has anyone here had a similar issue. Is it a big job to complete as i have talked to some people and they did say the whole bumper may need to come off.
Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated as i'm in a bit of a pickle.

For the moment just turn your dipped beams on all the time then no issue.

Try a few auto electrician places or even a replacement light on eBay, micksgarage etc etc.

Thanks Punisher, yes driving with the fulls should keep me going for a bit, more just wondering if anyone had any experience with replacing it .

Happened a friend, next thing that happens is the DRL dies, entire headlight unit required.

I believe you can manually disable the DRLs, something to do with sequencing the fog light switch and the drivers door.

There's a lad in Enfield that fixes this type of problem for about €100 - €130.

Got an issue with my lamp sorted earlier this year and it's been perfect since. Found him on adverts / donedeal.

No the lad in Enfield did all the work and yea bumper had to come off. He operates out of his house but he's quick, polite and there's a few shops nearby to kill time.

I was about an hour waiting. He said to wait about 2 but was done in 1 so was happy out.
