    Can't find a thread dedicated to this beast..

    Was really interested in the OP 6T and Mate 20 Pro although I've been watching videos online of people cracking the display and not being able to use the in display fingerprint sensor afterwards. The larger(non curved) display and bigger capacity battery were key factors in spending the additional money over the OnePlus.

    Anyway for those of you who don't know, here are the key specs..


    7.2" Amoled
    40MP - same camera setup as the Mate 20 Pro
    5,000mAh battery
    Kirin 980
    6GB RAM/128GB with expandable storage via a weird new card


    Luckily my wife listens to me whinge and has ordered me the international L29 version for Christmas :)

    Any other owners out there or opinions on the phone?

    I'll post a review once it arrives, hopefully before Dec 25th :)

    Forgot to mention the things it lacks from the Mate 20 Pro

    Wireless charging and the ability to charge other phones
    IP53 vs IP67 water resistance
    20w vs 40w fast charging

    All of which don't put me off.

    Update.. Once again eglobal have let me down with stock..

    They sent the classic out of stock mail this morning asking me to wait up to a week until stock comes in. They have good pricing but paying for a top end premium phone and being asked to wait is not acceptable, especially when it was listed in stock when I purchased and still shows in stock now.

    Anyway, rant over, hopefully find another option shortly..
