Bath tap pipe size, flow rate

I'm currently remodeling a bathroom and running new pipe. Water is gravity feed.

Currently hot and cold runs to the bathroom via 3/4", then branches off to 1/2" to the sink, toilet and bath.

Should I run 3/4" directly to the bath taps? If you have 3/4" then the last meter is 1/2", does this reduce the flow rate to the same level as if it was all 1/2"?
