    Hi,
My mum has a Mira Event shower about 18 years old! It has had very little use and the pump does not seem to be working in it. Would I be as well replace the shower now cause of its age or has anyone had similar issues or how to fix it?
I’m thinking just replace but maybe it could be an easy fix.

It is recommended that you turn on power showers every two weeks or so if not being used. This stops the pump from seizing.

A new motor for that shower is about 220 supplied & fitted. You could replace the event with the mira vigour for 360 to 400 supplied & fitted. A new event will be 600 to 700 supplied & fitted. The vigour is just as g but half the price
