Swapping Mira for Triton shower

Hi, I currently have a Mira Elite St shower which is on its last legs, after looking around I see that the newer Mira QT isn't worth it as they have more failures and issues so I am looking at going for the Triton SR instead. The pipe and cable enter in the same position but I'm a bit concerned about the footprint of it as there might be old fixing holes showing from the Mira. Has anyone swapped these and how would you cover these holes if there is any on show? As far as I know it is fully tiled behind the unit.

We swap out several of these each week. There are three screw holes from the mira. Sometimes you can cover two with the triton & sometimes none. We usually fill them with white silicone. They are tiny dots really. If the white doesn't suit your tile colour then you can buy different colour silicon. You can also but coloured grout. You will expose one screw hole from the shower pole too.

The only real difficulty is if your shower isn't properly tiled behind. There is a triton t900pi for such situations. It's the same footprint as the mira elite

I recommend anything over the Mira. We get a 10 percent failure rate on the day of installation & another 10 percent during the warranty period. That's 10 percent don't work straight out of the box! We've had clients on their 3rd motor during the warranty period and needing a 4th motor a few weeks out of warranty and mira wanted to change over 200 euros for the 4th motor. The mira Elite QT has a problematic motor, a faulty rubber elbow that leaks & the plastic is cheap meaning it becomes brittle after a short while. I've seen these Miras pull right off the wall mid shower when the plastic cracks. The plastic on the shower pole breaks easily too. Worst electric shower ever in our experience and a horrible aftercare service. Miras reputation is shot.

The Triton T90SR is two & a half years on the market now and we are getting less than 1 percent failure rate (its actually closer to a half percent than one percent). You won't believe how quiet it is too.

I have dozens & dozens of horror stories about this shower. We've replaced several at our own expense as mira wouldn't step up to the mark rather than have the client out of pocket. We now only fit these as "seconds", brand new in the box but sold as seconds. This is to cover ourselves as we can't continue to replace broken Miras at our expense.
