    Hi all,

Can anybody help identifying a sensor from a 2007 Ssangyong Rexton?

I've attached a couple of photos. 3 pin connector: Black, Red, White/Green stripe. Thanks.

Looks like water in fuel sensor, threads up into bottom of fuel filter housing. I’d say fuel filter that’s currently fitted doesn’t have the hole in the bottom of it, or if it has, there’s probably a threaded plug in it where this should go.
Idea of these things that if water accumulates in the bottom of the filter housing, it will put a light on on the dash telling you to drain the filter. As diesel is lighter than water, the water will always sink to the bottom of the filter.
I’d say someone either put a filter on that doesn’t have the hole in the bottom for this, or took it out as it was causing problems and put a bung in the bottom of the filter instead.

    HTH.

    I think you're spot on mad-for-tar ;)

Fuel filter light on the dash and the filter doesn't appear to have drain off. That must be it. Thanks!!
