Buying from Hertz

I’ve found the car I’m looking for with hertz. It’s an ex rental with low mileage. Price is right too!
Just wondering is there any issue with ‘rentals’
It’s a 172 so the manufacturer warranty would still stand anyway?
Should you expect to pay a little less for a ‘rental’ compared to the standard?

I’ve an image of some American not used to ‘driving stick’ with their foot to the floor in first gear!!

Hertz also do fleet so it’s probably not hire drive tourist stuff, which I think is retailed through main dealers.

    Any reason to avoid?

You need to be sure that there is a full manufacturers warranty.

As it was a car for hire, there might not be the warranty you are expecting.

    That’s what I was thinking!

nope. was looking at an xtrail. I wanted 3 seperate rear seats to accommodate 2 isofix and a child seat in the back. So it was an issue not related to hertz.
Lads were fine to deal with. had no issue returning my deposit either.

Ended up buying a touran then
