I'm looking for new 40" 4k tv + soundbar. I could hold out until boxing day/january sales if needs be.
Do the sales normally have decent discounts?

If not, what would be the current best tv in that price range?

    thanks

    Hi sheep_on_grass,

We usually do have a Boxing Day sale with good discounts however our products are comepetitively priced throughout the year.

If you're looking for a great TV around that size though I would go with either the LG 43UK6400 at £369 or the Philips 43PUS6703 (a direct lit LED panel with great picture) for £399.

For a soundbar you would be starting off with the JBL Studio Bar at £99 which is an excellent entry level soundbar. However the one I would highly recommend is the Yamaha YAS207 which is down to £249. It has a wireless sub as well as Bluetooth and HDMI inputs.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David
