Speed camera - junction 5 M8?

Hi folks! Any advice greatly appreciated! I’m driving northbound (stopped atm obviously:) ) and was overtaking someone as I passed junction 5 on ramp. I noticed some flashing yellow lights to the left of the car in the left lane. I didn’t get a look at it (it’s dark) but saw only the yellow lights. I wondered if it could be a Garda car or a speed van. I was unfortunately speeding (about 132 km/h when I glanced at the satnav).

My question: did anyone else notice this? Was it a broken down vehicle or works-vehicle. Would a speedvan Park in the chevrons of an on ramp (see picture) in the dark, wind and rain! :)

I’m praying I didn’t get caught but if so, just need to suck it up. Kicking myself as I’m usually very careful to keep to speed limit give or take 2-3km

Yellow flashing lights at night? Probably aliens.

    Garda are blue lights.
    Speed vans don't have lights.
Probably just a worker on the road.

132Kmh on a satnav was probably about 145 in your Speedo as far as I know Sat Navs are calibrated properly.

Speed vans have the yellow lights on when they're calibrating, i think you're ok.
