There are some places online that seem to have seeds for every tree you could imagine, but they're in the UK or somewhere in Europe. Are you allowed to get seeds from overseas or will customs just incinerate them? I'm only planning on planting them out in the garden, but I wouldn't want to cause any sort of problems that I don't have the knowledge to foresee.

Nice one, it's always exciting to see them pop up. Especially something as mighty as a sequoia, coming from a tiny seed.

    They'll get through alright.

The question of invasive species is probably moot here in Ireland as we've introduced almost any species that would grow during our time in the Empire. Plus we've among the least forested land in Europe, so we chopped down the natives too.

If it's fruit trees you want the buy here. They're mostly grafted, so won't grow properly from seed.

Yeah, I read that we're only about 11% forested. France and Germany are about 30% forest, and Finland is something like 70%! Seeds for the natives are fairly easy to get because I can collect them locally, I have some growing already.
