Just got an email saying registration is open for this event. 50 yoyo for the first 50 registered for the half, then normal price of 80 yoyo. Great event last year. Signed up again.

Not signed up but will be there to support my other half, he's doing the 10k with his work crew!
Hoping you get good weather for it!

Let him know that it's actually 11k. (at least it was when I did it)

Brilliant event and route and a really brilliant cause

Ok, haha, thanks, I will do.
It is indeed and fair play to the group, they have raised quite a few bob.

I'm doing the 10k too. I hurt my hamstring doing hill sprints on Tuesday though, so I'll be jog/hobbling it :)

Bring your hats and scarves. Looks like it's going to be cold and very windy!

    Looking forward to it.

I did the 10k. Loved it! It wasn't that cold after all!

Quick report. Fantastic event. Well organised, ran like clockwork and really enjoyable. The course is great, and the wind was at our backs for most of it. The boggy bit was wet and mucky, the rocky bits were fast and fun, there was snow on the ground and a blizzard at the finish line. All in, well worth the entrance fee and it makes a difference to the lives of the kids (cause they mostly don't make it to adulthood) living with EB. I'll be back next year for sure.
