Looking for anyone who has any advice or experience with this. My sister has moved to Canada and won't be home for Christmas. I was looking into buying her something particular in an American online store that ships to Canada. The UPS cost is about $30, item is about $300 dollars in value, weighs about 4 pounds.

Their website says "Disbursement fees, tariffs, duties, and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and are typically due upon delivery".

So does anyone know how much this might be, or if there are any other problems I might face that I haven't thought of?
