Lots of issues with VM..silly price being one..
Account is in her name so OH rang to cancel..was offered a 'deal' which was refused.
If she cancels and then I start a new account is that acceptable to VM ?
    Thanks in advance.

That's what we did last year but if you have lots of issues why not move to a different provider, two years ago I was with VM, cancelled, Mrs signed up as new customer, now cancelled & I am with sky, a far better product so far, could be back to VM next year depending on price.... always keep the contract in a single name

    Thanks for that.
Issue with going Sky is that phone line runs down lane at rear of houses..our connection/ link to line in lane was cut when we got a kitchen extension a few years ago..so I assume I'd need eir networks to re connect us?

Sky have subcontractors that will run a new telephone cable in for you for no charge BUT the underground pipe from the manhole in the laneway to your house will need to be accessable at both ends, if the end of the pipe in the house that the original cable came through is covered or built over, you could be in trouble alright.

If the original phone line was above ground, I'm not sure what the story is.
