    Hi,

    Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere.

    I am planning to install a satellite dish and aerial to avail of saorview/fta TV.

    The installers I have spoken to include either an Amica Mini Combo or an Ariva 153 set top box in their package. Are either of these boxes any good or would you recommend something else?

    Also, are there boxes capable of pausing/rewinding live tv once a hdd is connected?

    look at this thread, this box is what you need, anything else is ....

    its a long thread but worth it, just get dish and aerial plus cables installed, get a quad lnb as you need 2 feeds from dish to sat box.

    It looks a bit daunting but just go slow, all the answers are in the thread so have a good read while waiting for box, you buy it from world of sat, they will install a HDD as well, get the openatv image from the outset, .
