Being sent two phones when only purchased one on website

    As per title above. I tried to purchase a phone using my credit card but 3D secure was set up on an old number. So I cancelled that transaction and made a new transaction with my debit card. I sucessfully purchased the phone using the debit card as 3D Secure was set up for the correct number. However, Eir have somehow managed to take the money from my credit card, even though I did not place an order using this card. I have now received two phones and been billed by both my credit card and debit card.

    I only want one phone...

    How can Eir take money from my credit card when 3d Secure did not allow the transaction.

    Can I get my money back please??

    I am waiting patiently, on hold, for over 30 mins to talk to someone. This is not good enough!!


    Nearly 45 minutes holding now..... Unacceptable

    Sorry to hear this happened. Unfortunately, we won't be able to know exactly how this happened as this will be dealt with by a different department. However, if you could PM me the following details I can escalate this further and I'll happily look into this for you.

    1) Full name on the card used (for the card that shouldn't have been used)
    2) The last 4 digits of the card used
    3) The exact date of the purchase
    4) What type of phone was it?
    5) Account/Order number
