    Hi
My gas boiler Baxi 30/60 started hissing this evening and suddenly started leaking at the back. Can't see exactly where water is coming from. I tried a few local plumbers but can't get them on the phone. One answered and said he couldn't come out but to turn off water valve in hot press. Couple of questions:
I obviously need to stop the leak for tonight. I tried a valve in hot press but it is still leaking an hour later.

Secondly, he said straight away boiler would need replacing. I had it checked due to noise a few weeks back and guy said it would need a system flush or a replacement part.. cant remember the name. He said company I booked with would follow up but they never did and of course I forgot about it. 😣

Maybe worth mentioning the water is bubbly like there is washing up liquid in it.

    Hope you can help.
    Thanks.

Edit: trying to add pic but keep getting file too large!

Switch power off to boiler and turn the valves off under the boiler.

Turned the two black valves under the boiler. Not sure why but water kept coming. I turned off mains and drained everything down and it slowed but is still dripping!
I know nothing about this stuff.
