    1. I am refurbishing an old house and would like to know if it is feasible to get connected to the public mains. Where can I apply?

    2. I’m still waiting for my refund. Who should I contact?

    We can certainly look into to this for you. Firstly, would you mind sending the below details via PM?

    - Name;

    - WPRN; and

    3. I would like to cancel my application for connection and get I refund. How do I do this?

    In order to cancel your connection, I recommend that you email us at newconnections@water.ie and include the reason for the refund request.

    4. There is a sewer flooding outside my premises. Can you look into this?

    5. I need to turn off the water to do repairs, my inside stop valve is not working. What should I do?

    You can turn off your supply from the public mains to your property, you can switch your supply off using the outside stop valve located in your meter box.

    Once the works are complete you can turn back on your supply, as the outside stop valve is on publicly accessible land.
