Has anyone bought from EVelectricvehicles Sales

EVelectricvehicles Sales have a 151 Tekna for sale at the moment that I might have a look at, has anybody dealt with these guys before?
I rang them about the Tekna and asked if it was on Flex, he told me that it does say flex on the document, but he has emails from Nissan confirming that it is no longer on flex, can flex be bought out?
    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Yes, it can.

Price seems high for that car, but such is the reality for EV's right now.

€13.5k for a 4 year old 24kWh Leaf is a lot of money, when that exact same car (Tekna / SVE) sold for €19,995 brand new less than a year ago. I wouldn't.

I thought the cheapest Teken was around €23,000 last year and that was with scrappage of €4,000, or where they cheaper at some stage?
Unfortunately there is very little choice out there at the moment, I may wait till after xmas to see if there is anything better.
Choice is not any better in the UK also.

It was the run out of the old model in early 2018 before the new model came out iirc. Advertised in the papers and online for €19995 for the Tekna (top of the range). Not on a scrappage deal.

Yes, all EVs are strong money now. More and more people want to make the jump to EV and there simply aren't alot of EVs around. Keep looking though. There was a 141 for sale a few weeks ago for €9k (I think it was an SV) through a reputable dealer. That is likely to have very little depreciation over the next few years. There are usually some other 141 and 142 cars on DoneDeal for around the €9k mark. That's the sweet spot now for Leafs imho. Newer cars are poor value for money. And older cars are only a couple of grand cheaper, max. And have the poorer first generation deteriorating batteries (so a severely compromised range at this stage) and are another 2-3 years older.

Technically unkel is correct saying the SVE sold for 19,995, but that was one garage clearing the small amount of stock they had for a couple of weeks.

It wasn’t an official price and no other garage matched that price.

True, as I said it was the run out model, clearing stock. But even 2-3 years ago you could buy a brand new Leaf with 6.6kW charging and metallic paint for under €20k on the road (I was offered this myself by Windsor, the biggest Nissan dealers in this country). This was the base model though. A solid colour base model with 3.3kW charging presumably for under €19k on the road

My point is that €13.5k for a 4 year old Leaf is a lot of money. I feel €9k for a 5 year old one is much better value. For €13.5k you wouldn't be much short of a 2016 model with the 30kWh battery.

Seems expensive. I picked up a 16 SV 30kwh leaf for 14k from the UK recently, from a main dealer (1year Nissan warranty on the car and the remaining 5 and a bit years on the battery)including public and granny cable and allowing for flight over, train and boat back. Check out autotrader :)

(Prices include a few hundred quid for ferry and are for low mileage examples)

€13500 does not sound entirely outrageous for a low mileage 151 Tekna 6.6 to me if you have the money to spend and the 24kWh suits your usage.

Worth noting that UK prices have risen steeply lately.
Not as many bargains anymore. You have to look private to get a decent bargain imo.

Would you not say what I got was a good deal though?

    That was last weekend.

Nedved85 proves my point. There is good value out there, but you have to look for it. And probably bring it in yourself (I wouldn't rule out Phil in electricautos though). For a few shekels more than the car in the OP, he got himself a 30kWh Leaf that's also a year younger. That was good value. A €13.5k 151 24kWh Leaf is poor value.

Its a good €2500 over price but the dealers have to make money and if you are not willing to go to the UK yourself you have little to choose from on donedeal, hence the high price.

Good price but to reflect on previous prices I'm still very happy with our L30 at 6 months old, 1,600miles, all cables, showroom condition at £13,250, Nissan dealer.
That was in Feb 17 when there was a lot of Leaf's for sale and it was owned by an auld boy who handed it back after 6months for a petrol Nissan, seats (apart from drivers) still had original plastic on and the granny cable never even opened.

Now a 12month+ L30 is rarely seen below £15k, your €14k landed was a great find for a ~2 year old L30...I see from Autotrader there's 2016 L30's for under £12k now, that would be hitting your €14k landed

Just had a look there on Carzone, Irish dealers asking crazy money for used Leaf

    Absolutely.

I had been looking out for a Leaf for about 3 months and noticed the prices steadily rise and leafs being sold pretty quickly.

Decided to sell my older car privately and head over to the UK.

    Saved a nice few € I think :)

Thanks everyone for your feedback, went to have a look at the car today and it is in great condition, SOH is just shy of 88, and the chap from EV electric vehicles really knows his stuff and is passionate about electric cars, he was able to tell me everything about the car, big difference from when I went to a Nissan garage and they did not have a clue about the car.
From reading through the thread most people are getting the SV cheap, im looking for the SVE (Tekna), as I would like to have all the creature comforts that come with it. So SV is not a choice for me at the moment.

100% go for the Tekna, big difference in feel for me, econobox vs something that feels not far off a premium car.

What's the mileage on that 151? I got a 151 back in May with about 35000km on it and 93% SOH. 88% is not bad but it's not a million miles from losing a bar either, but if it has 50/60k on it I'd say that's normal enough. Nought you can do about it anyway.

Anyway don't be put off too much worrying about saving a couple of hundred Euro here or there is my view, you'll save that by getting into an electric sooner and as you've seen prices are creeping up so longer you wait higher they'll go. You'll love the car so do it! :)

Mileage is 37500km, as said the car is in very good condition.
Your right with regards to the price going up on the Tekna, it is hard to find one in the right colour and condition at the right price at the moment.
